Rational XDE Tester is a functional testing automation
tool, which leverages the full power of the Java
language to deliver resilient test scripts for JavaTM
and Web based applications. Rational XDE Tester
is based on the IBM Eclipse Platform and runs inside
IBM WebSphereŽ Studio 5.0 and Eclipse 2.0. Rational
XDE Tester is an enhanced and updated stand-alone
product based on the technology in Rational's RobotJ

Advanced XDE Tester
is divided into two modules. Module 1 is a one-day introduction
to Java for those lacking Java programming experience. Module
2 provides training in the Rational XDE Tester API and other
Java programming topics essential when implementing the advanced
functionality provided by the tool. Java-experienced testing
professionals can opt to register for Module 2 only. In addition
to class lecture, students complete labs to reinforce critical
tool and language concepts, and gain hands-on experience guided
by expert instructors. Selected topics include Rational XDE
Tester regular expressions, Rational XDE Tester API, dynamic
object tracking, file I/O, JDBC, Java to COM, Java to Win32,
and more. |
