This 5-day immersion course combines the
Rational basic course with RTTS'
expert-level course into an intensive
session designed to accelerate your learning
of this tool.
The first module is designed to familiarize
performance-testing professionals with the
basics of IBM Rational's performance testing
tools. In addition to class lecture,
students will be asked to complete labs to
reinforce critical concepts and tool
functionality. Upon completion of the
course, participants will be able to: plan
and define a workload model, create and run
basic scripts through Rational TestManager
and Rational Robot, create test scripts
using datapools, modify the scripts to
reflect dynamic data, build sophisticated
test suites in TestManager, analyze test
results.
The second module is designed to enhance
students' knowledge of the VU scripting
language and automated testing techniques
using Rational TeamTest. Learn to create
test scripts that more accurately emulate
the user community. The course includes
lecture, workbook exercises and labs. Get
tips and techniques from a company that has
been successfully implementing IBM Rational
performance testing tools at Fortune 500
firms since version 1.0. |
