This introductory course is designed to
familiarize testing professionals with the
basics of the Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Team System Test Edition load testing tool.
Testers can build, enhance,
and run performance test scripts in VSTS. In addition
to class lecture, you will be asked to
complete labs to reinforce critical concepts
and tool functionality. The focus is on the
practical application of the VSTS load testing tool
to resolve common performance testing
challenges. This course focuses on getting
started with load testing with VSTS.

• Use the Microsoft VSTS load testing tool to:
- Enhance Web Tests to use variable data with VSTS
Context Parameters, create user-defined timers using

values with VSTS Extraction Rules, and detect
application failures using VSTS Validation Rules
- Introduction to Coded Web Tests and the ability to
programmatically extend the capabilities of VSTS
